About the Artist

Matthew is an award-winning Master photographer with over 35 years of experience behind the camera. For more than 25 years, he owned and operated successful Portrait studios, earning a reputation for artistic excellence and personalized service

In parallel with his civilian career, Matthew spent 35 years as the photographer for the Army National Guard and Reserve units he served in, capturing the dedication of military life through his lens.

A lifelong learner, he continually refined his art through seminars, workshops, and advanced training. His passion for photography extended beyond the studio and the service, he also taught classes and mentored fellow photographers, generously sharing his knowledge and experience.

Now Matthew spends his time hiking the trails of the forest, fields, cities, and the Nations parks photographing the details, textures, and landscapes that speak to him along the way. This site is a small selection of the art he has created during his travels, which he is proud to share with you.
